Any recommendations please for a dog friendly hotel near Plymouth

DH and I are taking a little UK road trip.

Any recommendation gratefully received. 4 star type, preferably with gym/spa.

China Fleet Club and Boringdon Hall both accept dogs in some rooms. Both have a lovely spa and gym, but Boringdon is the fancier and more expensive of the two.

Pretty sure you can't leave them in the rooms unattended though, so you'll need to take turns at the gym or spa.

How close to Plymouth?

Just in the area really. Not much further south or South West though. We’ll be heading to Torquay after Plymouth.

The Elfordleigh is nice too on the edge of the moors, 5ish miles outside Plymouth( and just up the road from Boringdon) Boringdon is swankiest but reflected in the price! https://www.elfordleigh.co.uk/

We are not taking the dog with us after all.

Are there any other recommendations please, now it doesn’t need to be dog friendly?
