Things to do near Dartmouth

We’re off to Dartmouth at the start of July.
It will be 2 adults and a pup

looking for ideas of things to do and also dog friendly places to eat

There’s a nice walk from Start Point car park down to the Start Point lighthouse. We also enjoyed the Dart Estuary walk which starts at Dartmouth Station. I’d recommend taking a detour down the steps to Sugary Cove.
Dogs are allowed on the ferry to Agatha Christie’s Greenway House, where you can stroll around the gardens and woodland.
Dogs are also allowed on all transport included in the ‘Round Robin’ which includes the steam train, boat and bus around Paignton, Dartmouth and Totnes.
Bayards Cove Inn does a superb cream tea.
