I will have 4 hours to occupy myself in London in the afternoon , parked up at the Royal Albert Hall. Where would go, bus, tube, cab anywhere?

I wouldn’t go far. Maybe check out what exhibitions are on at the V&A and then go for a walk in Hyde Park. You could wander over to Kensington Palace. It’s got a lovely gift shop and cafe.

Thank you. I’d forgotten about KP . I always turn right to Harrods and wanted a change.

Depends what you like to do and what day, but if you’re a museum-type person, the wonderful Leighton House and Linley Sambourne House are not far up the road at the top end of Kensington High St. Check the days though as they’re not both open every day.
