where to eat in and around Falmouth in half term ....

Fussy teens ..... Relaxed, basic pub grub, Italian or burgers ... any recommendations please?

Working Boat for pub grub in a nice setting
Gylly cafe is pricey and perhaps not the simple food you're after for the evening, but could work for lunch - right on the beach. Or get pizza/bagels from the Dough an Dowr van by the beach which is great!
All the town beaches have nice cafes/takeaways

My teens and their friends really like Kona.
Harbour Lights is good for fish and chips and right in town (though both the Gem and Penmere Fishbar are better chippies in my view).
