Newquay with limited mobility.

I will be holidaying with a family member who has limited mobility. Which beaches and gardens are easily accessible (ie have parking close by). We previously struggled at The lost gardens of Heligan due to the steepness of the path. Is there anywhere to park up and go for a bit of a Potter.

I think Perranporth beach should be easy to access - there's a pay and display right next to the beach. It might be worth a look on street view to check that would work ok before you go.

From memory, the beaches in Newquay itself are all down cliffs. I think Tolcarne has a ramp instead of steps, but it's a long walk.

The obvious place for gardens would be the Eden project, which is definitely accessible.

Blue reef aquarium on towan beach, Newquay used to have a beach wheelchair they lent out to the public- it might be worth calling and asking them if they still do that.

Fistral has easy access from the car park which has disabled spaces. Disabled toilets and sand chair available.
Mawgan Porth has easy, level access from car park across the road. St. Mawgan itself is a pretty village with beach shops and cafes all in close proximity.
Towan Beach has a nearby car park and a beach wheelchair available for hire (which I think you book from the aquarium).

Thank you all so much.
