We are 2 adults and 2 teens age 15 and 16 and would like to stay in London for 2 nights.
Budget-wise it’s Premier Inn etc.
I had a quick look and couldn’t find any “family” rooms in this sector that have e.g. 2 double beds in one room.
Do they exist?

I stayed in the Premier Inn behind the London Eye and the twin room we booked had two double beds.

purplecorkheart thanks. Was that County Hall or Waterloo?

Hi it was County Hall.

Premier inn definitely does this - have stayed at the Haversyock Hill Hampstead/Belsize Park one

Holiday inns often do and cost is often similar (sometimes they include breakfast)

Premier inn County Hall is great
Your 16yo is now an adult for Premier inn though so you might have to book 2rooms or lie about age

Premier inn tower bridge has family rooms with a double and two single beds

Premier inn Greenwich and Lewisham both have family rooms with a double and two singles.
One single is usually the sofa bed, and the other is a z-bed thing, so you might need to pre-empt who gets which!
Oh and you basically end up with wall to wall bed as there's no space between them at all! 😆
