car hire costs for 21 yo

Hi - looking for advice/recommendations for car hire options in the UK for young drivers. Rates for 21 year olds seem very high, compared to more mature drivers. Is anybody aware of any specialist firms or discounts - visiting Ediburgh, SE Scotland.

Most places don't allow drivers to hire a car until they are 25. If you have found some that will hire to a 21 yo then you are going to pay a premium for this.

I very much doubt you'll find any secret hire company doing cheap rates for 21 year olds

Ime car hire a expensive for older drivers, there aren't any bargains for young ones
