New Forest - pub lunch and 1-2hr walk, buggy accessible

Hello, in search of a recommendation please - will be passing through the New Forest next week and hoping to stop for a leisurely pub lunch and a nice walk. We will take the off-road buggy so doesn't need to be paved, just no wading through fords etc and lots of tree roots might scupper us.
Thank you kindly

Presume you are coming through the A31 so come off at Ringwood, head to Rockford Common for the walk (NT car park)- lots of space/gravel trails and easy to do a loop of the length you are looking for. Then you have the choice of several pubs- Alice Lisle is walkable from the Rockford Common carpark or the Red Shoot if you want to head a bit deeper into the forest (has a play area in the camp site next door).

Or come off at Burley- our favourite pub is the White Buck and you could walk the old railway line, but the walk I think is less exciting than the Common.

Now off to namechange before everyone works out my postcode!

Check if pubs are open the day you go as Red Shoot is quite often shut on Mondays early in the season

The White Buck is the best pub ever! I make my dad and step mum take me there whenever I go to visit them. I would recommend some walks but tbh I don't actually remember the names or where any are. I just go with the family and dog to wherever they choose. You can't go too far wrong though and there are the new foals now too.
