Best beaches to rock pool in south England

Hi I am looking to take a day trip with the children - single mum of 4 so ideally toilets near the beach and not too far to walk from car park to make our day a bit easier.

We are in Surrey, happy to drive up to a couple of hours, would also consider nice beaches in Devon/Cornwall as I am desperate to do a long weekend there nearer the summer.

Sandy beach ideally with rockpools for the older children to explore.

Birling Gap has rock pools but is not sandy.

Broadstairs has a choice of beaches, an ice cream parlour and fabulous fish and chips. Downsides - a long yomp up the hill to the station at the end of the day, not much parking and frequently me.

Combe Martin and Croyde Bay in North Devon.

We like Charmouth, and DD2 loves looking for fossils there too

Treyarnon or Trevone in North Cornwall. Lots of rock pools and both have natural tidal swimming pools too.
