Local knowledge South Essex Vegan pub restaurant

We are travelling from Surrey up to Norfolk and would like to stop in south Essex for Sunday lunch - near Chafford Hundred, Stanford le Hope or South Byfleet - that kind of area. My husband is vegan and Id like to make sure we stop at a pub or. restaurant that has some good options. Does anyone have any local recommendations? Many thanks in advance

Not quite in the area you’re looking at, but The King’s Head in Billericay, The Magic Mushroom at Barleylands, The Fox and Hounds in Ramsden and The Star Inn at Ingatestone.

The Toby carvery at wickford do a roast without the meat you replace with a Vegan option which is lovely. Also vegan options from the main menue.
