Guernsey Taxis

We are visiting Guernsey, previously, but have always hired a car. My DH would like to try to visit without a car this time due to staying in St Peter's Port.
Approximately, how much is a taxi from the airport to the Castle side of St Peter's Port?
We intend to use the bus when we are luggage free!

You may struggle to find a taxi unless you book it well in advance. We've found since the pandemic that the pool of taxi drivers on Guernsey seems to have shrunk dramatically. Even when we do try to book ahead we sometimes can't get one.

Taxi fare for airport to St Peter Port should be approx £15 maximum. Strongly recommend booking well in advance due to the shortage of available cabs.
