Drive to the 02 or take public transport

My sister has given me tickets to see Elton John at the O2 as she can no longer go. Would it be better to drive and park there or to go via public transport. We would have to get back to Paddington - bit worried we might miss last train back but equally don’t want to be stuck for hours trying to get out of the car park!

When is the last train from Paddington? Public transport around the 02 events are very well organised and timed so people can get home.

Would another option be to park at a tube station somewhere west London to take out the train leg?

I always prebook a space which gets you into car park one. Its generally quicker to get out of there than any of the other car parks, but if you park near the exit it'll be even quicker. Its about £25 but cheaper and easier for us than getting public transport as we live outside london. The tubes run til very late, but the queues outside the station can be massive.

Public transport. Jubilee line to Bond Street then the Elizabeth line.

This, I always drive.
Once you're out of the carpark (which really doesn't take long at all) the traffic if really quite light.
Even the stupid Blackwall tunnel approach!
