Alot of the reviews on Tripadvisor look dire, so I would appreciate any personal experiences of nice restaurants near Leicester Square for lunch on a weekday.

Pizza pilgrims. The best pizza you'll ever eat!

Unless you had something a bit better in mind?!

You could head up to 7 dials market where there is tons of choice.

Steak and Company - if they have their lunch special.

China town is very close to Leicester Square . Never had a bad meal at any of the restaurants there!

Brasserie Zedel

Randall & Aubin, best fish restaurant in London (also does meat), not expensive either. Service is excellent.

China Town for dim sum?

My favourite in Chinatown is the Orient

I second China Town, especially for dim sum!

J Sheekey is fab, if you love fish. Two courses for £33 every day except Saturday

Feetinthemudandleaves · 14/03/2023 18:31

Thanks for all the suggestions

I second pizza pilgrims for fab pizza

If you like Chinese, head to Lisle Street in Chinatown (I find this cheaper than Gerrard St) and follow the Chinese people to the restaurants they go to, never had a duff meal, the ones at the eastern end are usually the cheapest/best.

What’s your budget and what kind of food do you like?

Speedboat Bar. New Thai place with incredible flavours!! Rupert Street - 2 min walk from Picc circus station.

Whataretheodds · 14/03/2023 19:09

Ooh you could try the national gallery dining rooms.

Mimilamore · 14/03/2023 19:15

Brasserie Zedel, lovely surroundings too

mdh2020 · 14/03/2023 19:54

Definitely Brasserie Zedel if you can book a table. It isn’t expensive but feels decadent and is just like a French Brasserie.

LlynTegid · 14/03/2023 19:55

St Martin in the Fields always do a good lunch, though it is a more modest place and more a cafe.

@DisplayPurposesOnly beat me to it! Came on to say Cork and Bottle - a hidden gem of a place Smile
