Best hotels with a baby (UK)

DH and I would like to try and do some long weekends/mini breaks with DD (currently 4 weeks old). Obviously we don’t need kids’ clubs or any specific facilities, but looking for recommendations for nice hotels with fabulous rooms where the baby will be welcome.

We’re based in Kent but happy to travel pretty much anywhere.

Woolley Grange. It has a listening service, so even if you don’t want to use the childcare you can have dinner whilst your baby sleeps.

Tbh, the best hotels we've stayed in with kids have been premier inns.

They're set up really well for families.

The Pig Hotels are all fantastic with a baby/toddler, difficult for us now we tied to term time and we're based up north, but in your position I'd be booking like a shot.

I came on the recommend the Pig too! We went to the one in Devon with DS when he was three months old and as well as the cot, they left out a baby towel and baby toiletries for him. He was so welcome everywhere and it was such a relaxing lovely weekend. We have also been to the one in the new forest when I was pregnant and both stays were amazing.

Brilliant, thanks. The Pig and Woolley Grange were both ones I had already looked at, so nice to have recommendations for them.

Nothing against a premier inn, but not quite we’re after.

Four Seasons Hampshire. Lovely warm kids pool with water pool, can borrow bikes with baby seats, kids playground with swings, kids eat free including homemade purées for younger ones. But luxurious enough that you feel like you’re getting a real break!

Oh and they provide sterilisers, travel cots, baby toiletries, baby bath, a potty sear anything you could want for babies and little ones!

Calcot Manor is the best we've been to (have done all of The Pigs, Sohos, Limewood etc). They have everything you need for little ones including baby food and Ella's Kitchen pouches. They do a kid's high tea in the pub and have a great crèche on site (if you want to have a spa treatment etc). And swimming pool etc. The bedrooms and even the changing rooms at the pool have travel cots, nappy changing mats, swim nappies etc. They really have thought of everything. They also have a room listening service and can arrange babysitters.

Oh yes! The Four Seasons was great too!

These are brilliant, thanks everyone!

I found lots of articles reviewing places to take toddlers, but it seems harder to find reviews of places where squawking babies are equally welcome.
