Restaurant recommendations in Bristol

I’m heading to Bristol later this year to meet up with friends. We’re staying in Clifton and I’m looking for recommendations for a nice restaurant in the area for the Saturday evening.

Also, any nice bar recommendations would be great too!

I think the nicest/best restaurants in that area are Cote, Nutmeg and The Ivy.

The Lost & Found, The Florist and The Botanist are all really nice bars and restaurants on the Clifton triangle.

The new moon tapas restaurant on Gloucester Road is out of this world. The food/service/ambience is amazing x

I went to somewhere called carribean croft. It was really nice. I don't know if that's near you

Go down to Wapping Wharf for dinner (but many of these restaurants are tiny, so you'd need to book), then back to Clifton Village for drinks - The Albion, Coppa Club, no shortage of lovely spots. Enjoy!

Or other restaurants - Riverstation, any of the Bianchi group restaurants. There's a Giggling Squid in the Village, along with an Ivy, Cote, Coppa, Zizzi's. There's also a lovely fish place, ?Wheeler's? Or Avon Gorge hotel for views.

Bristol has a fantastic food scene, so many amazing options!

If you are steak fans then Mugshot was great when we went.

Rock Salt is great. I've only been once (live at the other end of the country) but rave about it to everyone. It's Chinese-Indian if that's your kind of thing.

Not in Clifton , but only a short taxi ride away is San Carlo. Great buzzy atmosphere, fantastic food, amazing cocktails, excellent service. One of my all time best meaks

Also just remembered Pasture - loads of friends have declared it their new favourite. But hard to get a table.
