Looking to spend 5-7 days on a West of Scotland coach tour in 2023. Any recommended companies ? Is it best to book early or late ? I live in West Yorkshire, so would it be best to be picked-up there, or travel on my own to Glasgow/Edinburgh and start there ? Any advice appreciated.

For smaller tours Rabbies and Timberbush get very good reviews and depart from Edinburgh or Glasgow.
By no means a recommendation, but coaches you see around Scotland a lot include David Urqhart, Lochs & Glens holidays, and Glenton holidays. Check the itineraries carefully though, many involve loooooong days on a bus and overnights in hotels that are miles from anywhere.

Thank you

Do you need a tour? Something like taking train to Oban, then days out on ferries or local buses to islands of Mull, Kerrera and Lismore, bus down to Tarbert for a day (also drops you at Gigha ferry), a day up to Fort William... I could lose 10 days from Oban in lovely surroundings on public transport.

Sounds amazing!
