Cotswolds with toddler reconditions?

Going to the Cotswolds this weekend. First time visiting since having a child. Any recommendations for where to go with a toddler?

We like walking outdoors, pub lunches and I've found a few activities.

Staying near Chipping Norton.

Thank you!

Oh, the Cotswolds are lovely with a little one! You'll have a great time.

For outdoor walking, I recommend visiting the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens in Burford. It's a wonderful place to explore and your toddler will love seeing all the animals. If you're up for a bit more of a hike, head to the Rollright Stones near Chipping Norton. It's a beautiful prehistoric stone circle that's perfect for a little walk.

As for pub lunches, there are plenty of great options in the area. The Kings Arms in Chipping Norton is a popular spot for families, with a lovely beer garden and tasty food. The Wild Rabbit in Kingham is also a great choice, with a cosy atmosphere and delicious pub grub.

Other activities you might enjoy with your toddler include the Cotswold Falconry Centre in Moreton-in-Marsh, where you can watch birds of prey in action, or the Cotswold Farm Park in Guiting Power, where your little one can meet and feed farm animals.

Hope you have a fantastic trip!

Definitely the Cotswold Wildlife Park, it's such a lovely place - I'd go there all the time if we lived a bit nearer!

There's a model village and a toy museum in Burford too I believe. And lots of lovely places for lunch. Have a lovely time!

Farm park and wildlife park are great, also sudeley castle

All of the above recommendations I would second. DS really loved Cotswold farm park when he was little. Sudeley Castle is also good and has a fab play area that's free just outside the castle I think. Bourton on the Water has loads to do with the bird park, maze, a transport museum and model village. It's quite pricey to do all of them in one day though. Sone lovely cafes for tea and cake there too.
