Best budget hotels with rooms for 5

We have always used premier inn hotels when doing short breaks but now our youngest is older (5yo) we can’t get away with a family room with a cot. Ideally we all want to stay in 1 room, our oldest is 10yo.

This year we want to do some theme park trips as we’ve not done any since pre covid, looking at Lego land and Alton towers, dose anyone know which chains offer decent sized family rooms near those locations?

We’re a family of five and we’ve got some really good deals at Stirrups which is close to Legoland www.stirrupshotel.co.uk/about/Families Last time we had a room for five with breakfast included for £180 which I didn’t think was too bad.

Some of the premier inns have interconnecting rooms. We are a family of 6 and do this and just leave the door open.

Also, you could try the YHA I believe they have one near Alton towers.

I think Alton towers have you a good option, where you can get a family bedroom or even you can enjoy lots kids friendly activities as well.
