Hotels in Leicester

Me and DH are going to be in Leicester next month and would like to find a nice, romantic hotel in Leicester? Especially one with a pool or spa! Any recommendations?

Hi we are planning a trip to Leicester and I've come here for restaurant recommendations but saw your post. We are staying in the cheap and cheerful Premier Inn Forest East, which I don't think qualifies as a romantic getaway ha ha but I found the Visit Leicester website really helpful, there are some lovely hotels. Enjoy your trip.

Leicester City is not renowned for high end hotels, Premier Inns, Ibis and Novotel are central. The best would be the Belmont 4*, but it has no swimming pool.
At M1 junction 21 are The Hilton, with a pool and The Marriott.

Ragdale isn't far, if you want v fancy hotel spa
