My mum is having a birthday ending in a 0 this year and my dad kind of missed out on celebrating his as it was during a covid lockdown. So i would like to get them both a lovely weekend away in the Lakes for a bit of a joint celebration. Can anyone recommend somewhere lovely and which also offers spa treatments? They can drive so dont necessarily need to be tied to public transport. Would probably be thinking a Fri-Sun.
