Restaurant recommendations in Leicester

Could anyone recommend a good restaurant near the Curve Theatre in Leicester please? Going for a graduation on Monday but taking the train there so walking distance would be great - although we could always take an uber if the best offerings are at a distance. Thank you!

Oggi Italian, Bistro Pierre, Giggling Squid, Casa Romana or Kayal.

I feel like you surely need a curry if you are going to Leicester? Definitely worth checking out Trip Advisor

Grays kitchen in the LCB depot just opposite is lovely and quite undiscovered until now. Only open day time however

Kayals is great.

Love Kayal

Ooh I will investigate them all - thank you! I did think it needed to be a curry, @Lemonademoney 🙃 but don’t want a bad one 😆

thanks everyone

Where did you end up? Would you recommend? I've got the same situation ... graduation is Thursday at the Curve ... but I don't think a curry will work for us, sadly.

@allnewname we ended up at the Chutney Ivy, as it was close to the Curve and the hotel we were staying. We were just tired and it was getting late and the menu looked good. It was a lovely meal, not the best I’ve ever had but not bad at all. It was, however, a curry Grin I’ve been to the Giggling Squid in a different location, it’s very good if you like Thai food.
