We’ve booked 3pm Matilda theatre tickets. The theatre says it’s 2hr 35mins. Would my son and I make it back to Kings Cross station in time for a train at 6.35? It’s Cambridge theatre. Thank you

4 min walk to Covent Garden tube and 3 stops on the Piccadilly line - Citymapper says total of 17 minutes so you should be fine.

The theatre will be crowded and it will take a bit to get out. It can be done but I personally would try and get a later train.

Should be fine. 15 minutes to leave the theatre. 30 minutes for the journey. 15 minutes to get into the train.
But a later train would be less stressful.

Should be ok but if anything overruns might be a bit stressful, can you get a later one?

It will be fine. Theatre shows aren't meetings, they don't over-run. It's a 20 minute journey - you've allowed triple time.
