Centre Parcs with a 2 year old toddler - Woburn or Elveden?

We are planning to take our 2 year old daughter to a Centre Parcs but aren't sure whether to go to Woburn or Elveden. Has anyone been recently that could advise what they think would be good for a toddler? I've read an older thread from 2017 but wonder if anyone who has more recent experience can advise? Would also be grateful for any general advice or tips about what to do or bring with us to Centre Parcs.

Sorry since writing this post I've read a few related posts from last year as well. So got more updated info but still would appreciate any opinions/advice about Centre PARC's.

Are you sure it needs to be one of those centre Parcs? I would say Sherwood and Whinfel is best for a toddler as the children’s pool is big especially Sherwood it has a big climbing frame ‘thing’ with slides and all sorts it feel very safe as it’s away from the big pool. Whinfel is great because it’s main are is all indoors and it has more activities aims at younger kids In my opinion.

In what to bring,

Centre Parcs provide towels and bedding but not towels for the pool
Take your own drinks and breakfast items as the shop is quite pricey! We like to eat out but if your not planning to eat out or get takeaway then it really is best to take a full shop with you. Remember toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets, dish cloths and tea towel are provided.

Thanks, yes it's have to be between Woburn and Elvesden as they are the closest, we are based in Hertfordshire and unfortunately the two you've mentioned will be too far which is a shame!

Thank you for your tip re breakfast items and drinks!! Think it'll definitely be worthwhile to do a shop! Would like to eat out as well but will probably cook too.

Elvedon. It’s flatter not so hilly

Elveden. I found Woburn rather underwhelming tbh.

Elveden. It’s flatter and feels more wooded.

Another vote for Elveden. Only good thing about Woburn is the spa.

Thanks! Do you think it's worth paying the extra for to stay in a more central lodge?

Personally I like the walking to and from the centre but it depends on your own personal preference

I think we opted for mid distance. If you’re using a pushchair it doesn’t matter how near or far you are.

Just got back from Woburn with 2yo and 4yo. We had a great time!

The spa is shut at Elveden until August. I really liked Woburn, it is newer so the facilities are less tired and my 2 year old loved the pool. It is more compact than the other CP so easier to get about with LOs plus the spa is amazing.

I’m In Center parcs right now, in Elveden. I like both Woburn & Elveden, I think they’re pretty similar. The pool at Elveden is bigger, the forest more mature so plenty of wildlife, and in general its flatter. Woburn is still quite newish, so the lodges are in better condition - both have the large toddler play area in the swimming pool.

Our preferred is Elveden. Only been to there and Woburn. Went last when DS was 8 months old. Thinking about going again when he's 20 months old.

Thanks for letting me know! I had no idea as it wasn't on the website. Not sure if it's a game changer but as it will be my husband's 40th as well it would have been a nice option.

Really nice to be able to get all these opinions on it.

They like to keep it quiet. I expect it will be lovely after August though.
