Nice places to eat in Cambridge

We are going to visit DS there this weekend, but will be going regularly over the next few years.

We'd like to have a treat when we go. Somewhere with an interesting menu with vegan options.

In Oxford we liked Victors and Gees, among lots of others.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

We normally go to one of the many little independent cafe/bistro style places on Mill Road. "Al Casbah" had some nice Vegan choices last time we were there, but pretty much every cuisine is represented somewhere within 10 minutes' walk of Parker's Piece.

There are lots of great places in Cantab.
Near the market: Pint Shop
On Bridge St., near Magdalen: Fitzbillie's and Cambridge Wine Merchants
On Chesterton Rd.: Restaurant 22 - expensive

Pint Shop and Trinity. Both great food.

We always liked La Margherita on Magdelene Street . A family run Italian with friendly service and nice food. It's been a few years since we were there though.

The Orator at the Cambridge Union and another vote for Pint Shop

Thank you for everyone's suggestions. We went to Fitzbillies for brunch and Trinity for dinner which was great. A bit different. We will try some of the other suggestions next time.
