I find Mother's Day difficult since I lost my Mum. I want to make the effort to be with my daughter (12) and husband and thought going away on the Sat night might be good so we have the weekend away. I like the outdoors and wondered about something like a farm or rural B&B with a pub nearby or something with nice views. We're in West Yorks and a 2 hr drive would be perfect. Any recommendations for unusual or outdoorsy places you've stayed?
