Bestival camping- Shropshire

Just wondering if anyone’s been to Bestival (Shropshire) and have any tips or experience for going? We have a 6yo, 3yo and 1yo.

Were experienced campers but never took the kids to an actual festival before but mainly what’s worrying me is;

how far away are the pitches from the car park (we normally pitch where the car is so worried it’ll be too far as we have a large air tent and lots of sh*te to take)?

Are the toilets portaloos?

We’d be doing ‘camping plus’ so wondering how far the walk is from pitches to actual stages/action?

Also posted in 30 days only too as I didn’t know this thread existed.

And anything else you can recommend.. thanks!

Not done Shropshire as last year was the first but been to lots of the Dorset one. Walking wise it's handy to have a trolley (can book one or take your own), these are also handy for dragging the kids about for the weekend
Loo's are portaloo's, they have had some eco ones that I prefer some years (more open so less stinky!)
Main benefit of camping plus is having a designated camping spot. Just be aware your tent must fit within the plot, some airbeam tents are bigger. Saying that, there is plenty of space in general camping so I wouldn't bother with camping plus (hospitality camping on the other hand....... always splurge on this as you're right behind main stage, and nicer showers etc)
