Holiday parks views esp any experience of Lower Hyde Holiday Park, I o W,

DH and I are virgin holiday park goers (Centre Parcs just too expensive this year) but we are thinking of trying this park (which is run by Park Resorts) with DD (15 months)in June.

Can anyone give their views on the pros and cons of Holiday Parks like this (any top tips_ and in particular:

1. Is Lower Hyde close enough to Shanklin town

2. Is it worth paying extra for Gold mobile home, and will we be able to put the std travel cot in one of the bedrms and not the living room?
