Heh, can anyone recommend a good bar/restaurant near or around Piccadilly Circus for a group of 6 who want to have a relaxed low-med budget meal and cocktails for a 50th birthday party? Thanks

I went to San Carlo on Regent Street before Christmas for cocktails and food and it was really good.

I can on to ask this exact same question!! Except there are 8 of us. Somewhere fun with nice food (not crazy prices) & good cocktails maybe dancing later? (If not at the restaurant -close by?) I was looking at Zedel a friend mentioned it - mixed reviews tho some say food overpriced? Also Tozi Restaurant but again recent reviews mixed re Italian tapas for a crowd. None of us live in London so haven't a clue - staying central - Waterloo.

I came to say Zedel!

I don't know what's on Heddon St these days but that might be worth checking out.

Definitely Zedel.

Sucre is excellent, can be pricy if you go for fancy cuts of meat or fish, but doesn't have to be as there are many accessibly priced options on the menu.

Also really rate Kricket and their neighbouring basement bar Soma which is one of the best cocktail bars I have visited in London.

Brasserie Zedel. We are there next month for Valentines x

Thanks all! Zedel was booked up for night we wanted but on a recommendation got the Riding House Cafe on Titchfield St which is reasonable & sounds like it gets lively later on too!

@Marilla1966 Hi. Apologies for reviving an old-ish thread but I was wondering how your valentine's meal was at Zedel. It was recommended by a few friends and here on Mumsnet and I was planning to book a pre-theatre meal as a bday treat for my teen DD and a couple of friends. But the latest reviews on Tripadvisor are absolutely dire and it's put me off a bit! TIA
