We are looking to go away just for 3 nights at the end of July, totally open to where to go but trying to do it relatively cheap as we have an abroad holiday at the end of Aug. I'm just conscious it's a long time for our DC to wait when they break up as they'll be in holiday club most of it :(
We need to go Weds to Sat or Sunday.
Last year we did Premier Inn Weston Super Mare which was perfect and under £400 (excluding spending money). Would be great to do something similar but we don't like going back to the same place.
Doesn't have to be seaside based.
We are in the Midlands so can go anywhere really
Thanks 😀

Try the YHA. There won’t be parties of school children staying at the end of the July, and many of them are really family friendly now. We had a lovely stay at Boggle Hole in the summer holidays for peanuts, although we booked almost a year in advance. I know Hartington Hall is another good one for families as my DSis has been recently and used it as a base for Alton Towers, but that might be too close to home for you!

We went to Stratford YHA. It’s like a mini stately home. The London ones are good also.

How about Isle of Wight? The ferry is always good fun and there’s lots of things to do for all ages. Consider youth hostels, park resorts etc.
