Campervanners - where are you going in Jan/Feb

I had 3 nights at Morton-in-Marsh from Jan 1st - the town is 5mins walk, plenty of pubs and cafes and a couple of small supermarkets and no end of footpaths radiating out from the town BUT some days were very rainy and muddy and some were better than expected. The mud and mess (with a dog) does get me down - I was thinking of heading off somewhere without the dog for a change... But I've said that before and always end up taking her. Where are you heading and why?

North Wales.
Loads to see and do no matter what the weather is doing.
Quite a few free places to park, we use a pub that does great food and if you book a table for an evening meal you can stay on the carpark for free, no loo after hours or hook up but its free.

@Funf OK well there's a suggestion I've bookmarked. I notice there is a CAMC site across the road that is currently closed until July 2023. Thanks.

I told CAMC not to automatically renew my subscription as I (and many others) are completely hacked off with the new booking system and in particular the new app that is completely unusable and CAMC just aren't responding to all the criticism and complaints - see here if you don't know about it.

We've been using the camping and caravan club since we got our motorhome and they have been really good. I've heard nothing but bad things about CAMC so never joined. We like staying in sites within striking distance of cities for weekends. CCC has some sites open all year, so have ear marked canterbury and salisbury for our next couple of visits.
