Want to go away april time and trying to find some where not 8 miles drive from me that is ideal for my 19 mnth ds. We are is sussex and have found some great farm cottage type holidays but are cornwall and northumberland way which are just too far to go (dont want to stay overnight on way there as just makes too expensive).

Where do any of you go? Want self catering (not butlins etc!) plenty to do for ds and stressless for me!
