I'm so excited. Found this new development 10 mins from Padstow and lots of lovely beaches. They have 2 and 4 bed s/c lodges with indoor shared swimming pool, bar, spa, tennis courts... and a fraction of the cost of some of the places down there. OK so it's not exactly cheap, but it is not much more than a standard cottage in the Padstow area and you get all the extras if the weather is crappy.
It looks so new, modern and child friendly I just thought I'd post on here in case anyone else was looking for something similar.

It was just completed last summer and a few are still being built but will be finished by July. Can't wait
