Four hours in central London-something special?

We are celebrating an anniversary in London next week and will have three or four hours during an afternoon to fill before eating in Covent Garden ahead of seeing a show.We know London quite well but apart from looking at Christmas lights I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for anything special/unusual to do.Just two of us in our fifties.

There are a few nice exhibitions on at the moment. I’ve just been to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year at the NHM which was stunning, and I’ve just bought tickets to a blockbuster Lucien Freud exhibition at the
National Gallery.
If exhibitions aren’t your scene, then there’s Sky Garden (if there are tickets left), a boat cruise, treasure hunts or tea tasting masterclasses.
