Festive London day out with young children?

What would be a good Xmassy day out in London with three young children aged 6 and under? They couldn't walk for too long.

I saw a Toot bus the other night, doing a Christmas lights tour, so maybe look at their website. Might be nice way to see the city without walking. Otherwise a museum trip?

It depends when you’re going and what your budget is.
However, regardless of budget, I’d take the 139 bus (sit on the top deck) to see the Christmas lights londonist.com/london/christmas-in-london/how-to-see-london-s-christmas-lights-by-bus (any time after about 4pm is good). Get off at Covent Garden for the flurries of snow secretldn.com/covent-garden-snow/

I would take a trip on the Thames Clipper (boat - it goes fast, they will love it!) down the river to the IFS Cloud (used to be Emirates Air Line) cable car, take that over the river and get the tube back to central London to look at some lights. My 10yo son loved this. There is only a little walking involved and it isn't expensive at all to do.
