Christmas shops London

Going to London this weekend and I recall going years ago and loving all the Christmas shop windows. Any suggestions for where to go particularly this year? Simple pleasures and all that! Also any other tips for this weekend would be great - just me and my husband, in our 50s, no kids with us.

Fortnums window displays will be worth a visit.

If you're near Kings Cross, a wander along Kings Boulevard to Granary Square, Coal Drops Yard, the Gasholders, along the canal, is worth an hour of your time (or more - loads of lovely cafes, restaurants, bars)

I always love liberties Christmas shop. Lights on Oxford St and Covent Garden are normally lovely. Haven’t been this year though.

Liberty is fab and a short walk from Covent Garden where I had a lovely bowl of soup downstairs whilst a street performer sang opera.
I also went into Hamleys and the Lego store just because.
The V&A was my highlight tho

Thanks so much. I do love Liberty and that’s a top tip for Kings Cross. Must look and see if there’s anything special on at the V&A. Any thoughts about markets?

If you go to Kings Cross, there's also a lovely market
