SHeffield/Barnsley MNers- does anyone know of a cheap hotel or B&B close to Elsecar Heritage Centre.

I know there are travelodges but wondered if there was anything cheaper like a Formule 1 or similar. Ta.

There is an ETAP hotel in Sheffield. Its about a half hour drive away and not in the most salubrious area, but they are supposed to be clean and dirt cheap

Have you tried the Rockingham Arms in Wentworth it's a pub just up the road?

I've just copied this from Premier lodge website this is a bit further away but only 5/6 miles or so.

I used to live in Elsecar so if you need to know anything elsle just ask, but I'm off to be now!
