I really want to do the parkrun over there. I can in theory fly over Friday and come back Saturday afternoon. But I'd rather not do that.

Travelling alone and a non driver. I enjoy things like museums.

no need to drive, the island is tiny so buses or cabs are fine - where is the park run? There are things to see in St. Peter port, lovely restaurants, some very nice beaches ( you’d need to travel).

You could get a day ticket on the bus for £5 when i went a few years ago. You can get on and off all day and it goes right around the Island. I recommend the underground war museum - well worth a visit

The underground German war hospital.
They used to do an October dining deal across the island, that might still be on.
Guernsey Pearl is worth a visit.
Read the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society in advance then see some of the places from that.
Guernsey Diamond museum and lots of walking tours available.

Little Chapel at Les Vauxbelets.
Castle Cornet for the noon-day gun.
