Family friendly restaurants in London?

Going to London for 2 nights with my partner and 2yo for his 30th birthday. Anyone recommend toddler friendly restaurants? I'm aware it's not going to be anything too posh with a toddler! Thank you :)

According to MN, there are no friendly places or people in London, you have to go 'up North'.

Sod a kids restaurant for your birthday! Zedel on Piccadilly Circus is glamorous as hell, and has those ultra professional career waiting staff who won’t turn a hair at a toddler’s whims. Sunday brunch always rammed with families and has live music. Mine love it. You know your toddler though- it’s absolutely not somewhere for a child to go wandering around alone and making friends with other tables, but they will provide copious bread and butter / you can get away with an iPad at the table.
soho is now full of dessert places which are a lot of fun, and pavilion road off Sloane Square has a whole strip of restaurants with outdoor tables / lights strung across the street which is very villagey and family friendly. Granger & co would be suitable (also one at Kings Cross if you’re up there but that’s very business meetingy in the week so would avoid)

Where in London and what’s your budget? IMO most places are welcoming to toddlers. Two that stand out for me are the Wolseley and Locanda Locatelli- I’ve been to both with babies and toddlers and they were brilliant. But are you looking for places more specifically aimed at children?

@Rooster67 perfect thanks so much, I'll check those out :) we're staying in Piccadilly area. Happy to spend more for something nice!
