Hi guys can you please help me, I've rang easy jet asking about if I can bring a bottle alcohol into the hold luggage aswell as shampoo 250 ml and dry shampoo 400ml etc and I think they r confusing the allowances with cabin luggage. Can somebody shed some light for me as there is zero info on HOLD luggage online and I just want to bring a bottle of whisky 30 percent, some fry shampoos and creams aswell as chocolates etc

You can't take a 33 kilo bag. Maximum weight is 32 kilos for handling requirements.

Can you put some of your non liquid heavier items (electronics, shoes?) in your hand luggage to free up the weight?

The Easyjet website says a 23 kg hold bag is 'from £9.49' depending on route then you can buy extra weight in 3 kilo chunks at £12 a time, so £36 extra to go from 23 kg to 32 kg.

www.easyjet.com/en/terms-and-conditions/fees

But if your bag is over the 23 kilo price, it doesn't seem worth paying £36 to move up to 32 kilos unless the items you are bringing back are worth a lot more than that. I'd expect a bottle of whisky to weigh close to 3 kilos on it's own and it's barely worth more than the £12 it costs to add the weight on.

You can put liquids in your hold language so there shouldn't be an issue with alcohol (depending on where you are flying to, you shouldn't have to declare the whisky at customs ... but this will depend on your destination and how much you take; one bottle should be fine).
No problems with shampoos or liquid soap or conditioner in hold luggage regardless of size.
The normal hold luggage allowance is 23kgs, but you can purchase a maximum of 32kgs.
The only issue with liquids in hold luggage is the weight they add! But if you are on or under your weight limit there are no issues.
Hand luggage it's generally better not to carry any liquids at all.
Once you are through all the security checks you can buy duty free perfume, booze, shampoo etc, and there is no problem providing you can fit it in you hand luggage when you board the plane.

They're all allowed in the hold but you need to check the rules on importing food and alcohol into whichever country you're flying into. I would also wrap up the whisky well to protect it.
