Hotel in London for Twixmas break

Premier Inn looks very busy and options available now don't look suitable.

Looking for hotel central London, not extortionate but decent, good value hotels for families.

Any recommendations please

Try the Z Hotel chain. I’ve always found them reasonably priced. The family rooms are a little on the small side but we never spend much time in them anyway.

The Holiday Inn, High Street Kensington. Excellent location. Decent rooms. Had a really great London break based from there. Would definitely stay again.

Thanks seems that the HI doesn't do family rooms for 2 adults 2 children! Actually never heard of Z chain!

London prices have really gone up. Nothing is really good value! Look for cheap and cheerful chains. Ibis, Premier In , Holiday Inn etc and don’t expect too much. Do you need to be central? Dorset Hotel at Shepherd Bush has great transport links for example. Usually cheaper than central London but it’s 10 mins to Oxford Circus from there.

I guess the period from 26 to 29 December? I've always just called that Christmas myself, what with it being a 12 day festival and all.
