Butlins - what age did your children grow out of it

I've been taking my 7 year old daughter to butlins, haven caravan parks etc didn't she was 2 and I had to start paying for flights for her .
the few foreign holidays we have been on she has complained about leaving the resort/pool/other english speaking playmates to sight see although she does enjoy the better weather.
A friend remarked today that I’ve probably got 2 more years maximum before she outgrows butlins/caravan parks – does this tally with your experience?
She has loved eurocamps and I’m looking at med hotels with waterparks for the next summer – but what holidays do 8 – 10 year olds enjoy?
Budget is tight, but I’m off all the school holidays.
I’m a lone parent so it’s just the 2 of us – I am starting to resent paying the same for the 2 of us at Eurocamp as a family of 6 so thinking this may be our last Eurocamp holiday. Eurodisney and Efteling have been big hits but I’m off for the 6 week summer holidays so would like to do a 2 weeks pool and sunshine holiday then.
Thanks for your insights

There's no set 'grow out of it' age I don't think. If you start talking about holidays, just say "shall we go to Butlins again?" and if she says yes, then book it and go.

My 9 year old still wants to go to Butlins.
It's tricky though because by the time we've actually booked and go will she still like it?

I think if you book up some of the more exciting activities like climbing wall, football, etc older kids will like it. The pool is definitely exciting enough for me even. The entertainment is brilliant for all ages. So I think it has quite long lasting appeal.

We went at Christmas with our DC, 16, 13 & 8. They all loved it, the entertainment, pool, rides etc. We're going again this year & they're all looking forward to it.
