UK Holiday with 1 year old - suggestions?

We are planning to go on holiday with our 13 month old. It needs to be in the UK and on the week beginning 5th September.... So short notice.

Checked centre parcs but is fully booked. So thinking of a second plan.

What did you all enjoy doing with a 13 month old?

....I know 13 months old can vary alot. She is walking well, spends most the day on her feet running/waddling fast, is quite active and can say a few words.

Thank you

Bluestone, Darwin Forest and Haven Wild Duck are similar to Centre Parcs.

Northumberland? At that age go where you like,…. A swing, some ducks to
feed and an ice cream and most 13 month olds will be happy

Isle of Wight
Cornwall

This . And an area of grass nearby for toddling and playing. Enjoy.

We enjoyed a haven holiday stay at that age. Most are near a beach, you have dancing/kids entertainment and use of an indoor pool. All over the place but we liked the ones in north wales.

How about the lakes? Fallbarrow holiday park is really pretty and an ideal location.

Have you booked anywhere yet OP?

Another Vote for Haven.
Presthaven in Prestatyn is a good base as Chester. Liverpool etc are 1 hour away, but still loads to see and do locally
Some local stuff here

Friends have just been here, its on the Llyn Peninsular so a little bit harder to get to but stunning location, beaches. The Peninsular has its own micro climate so its usually a little dryer and warmer

Abersoch, Llanbedrog, Criccieth are all nice and not too far way

Thank you all.

We were inspired by the Darwin Forest suggestion, really liked the idea of Landal parks being more nature focused. And then chose a different Landal park which was closer to where we needed to be

Although we will definitely refer to these suggestions again in the future and pick some of the other ideas
