Is Polesden Lacey Playground open?

Has anyone been to Polesden Lacey recently? Read something which seemed to suggest the play area was closed as it was being redeveloped but not sure if it was an old article- helpfully it didn't have a date on it and couldn't seem to find much info either way as to whether it was still out of action. (Obviously nave Googled extensively etc!) Tia if you can help!

Just phone or email them and get an answer straight from the horse’s mouth

Last time I went in June it wasn’t open, and I think the playground area is being moved so I suspect will take them a while to do.

The current National Trust page implies the play area is open. It says it has been recently redeveloped.

I Googled 🤷‍♀️

We went there a week ago and there was alot of outside play areas under the trees. My kids enjoyed it- very good climbing trees too!

Thanks so much for all the helpful replies. I should have been clearer that the problem when I Googled was that I found apparently conflicting information. I also found that page MrsElm but the Polesden Lacey fb page had a post in May this year saying that the play area redevelopment wouldn't be complete till August. I would have phoned them but was trying to firm up plans last night (only came across this info re the play area when one of the people going was wondering about the size of the playground last night) so there wouldn't have been anyone to answer.

As it happens we decided to go somewhere else this time, but I might take the kids there another day. Sounds fun Chillin.

It wasn't open a couple of weeks ago and I can't even see where it is being moved to. The area it was in is closed due to ash die back.

There are other bits for kids to do thought

Thanks Riding. Feeling less stupid for checking now, despite what NT info said 😁
