London at night with kids

Hi

Any suggestions for things to do at night with kids in London? Will be with a ten year old. Have a theatre trip booked and will do a walk around southbank and river trip. Any other suggestions?

Visit the Lego store and m&m world in Leicester Square or Hamley’s in Regent Street

London Bridge and generally walking round the South Bank.

Watch the entertainers in Covent Garden.

The London Eye might be nice in the evening? The area round the O2 also has a good buzz in the evening - there's a food hall thing.

I used to love Covent Garden when young

Guided walk on a topic of interest. There's probably a load of self guided online or podcast type ones too.

China Town?

Treasure Trails have self-guided walks/quizzes with clues by text if you get stuck.

Ooh yeah that reminds me you can do self guided escape room things that I saw advertised. As in you answer clues around parts of London.

I think they're actually just called treasure hunts and you get clues to your phone etc.

DS has always enjoyed a meal in Chinatown. There are more table outside since Covid so even better people watching.

I’ve just been to London with an 8 year old, she loved watching the street performers in Covent Garden.
We went to Babylon park too, it’s an indoor theme park/arcade in Camden and quite expensive but DD really enjoyed it
