Washing clothes on a campsite?

We’re off to a caravan park in a week or so, and I’m wondering what to do about laundry (we don’t have enough space in the car to take enough clothes to avoid doing any washing for a full week!). I know our campsite has washing machine - is a static caravan likely to have an airer or is there some kind of communal drying facility? Or do I need to take some kind of travel washing line?!

Depends on the static, some have an airer in the hoover cupboard.

Have you got decking? I have hung wet clothes over the decking but in general just slum it a bit and cope with what I have.

If the site has a washing machine it'll likely have a dryer to. Many sites also have communal drying lines beside the laundry but it's worth checking. The static may have an airer but I wouldn't rely on it.

Could you bring some rope and do a makeshift washing line to a near tree or similar (that's what we do)

Take pegs and a washing line string you can always tie some up somewhere but it’s normally the pegs your can’t find

Yes take string and pegs and a couple of octopus dryer things. They are only a couple of quid in Wilko
