Family Friendly hotel in Lake District

The dcs want to go to Beatrix Potter world. Would like a hotel that's family friendly preferably with a pool. Any ideas?

I know the Burnside well and it would be ideal for a family break.

world of Beatrix Potter is very well done, though small - an afternoon would do it. I think you would be better off staying in Windermere rather than Bowness (am searching my little old brain for one with a pool) My parents live in Ambleside so I know the area well having spent around 20 years of weekends there
I'm thinking Langdales as well if things are open over there atm

of course....if you wanted Ambleside, the Salutation at the end of our road
my brain is going slow tonight.

Another suggestion, for a really good family nosh-up we often go (with three dc) here fantastic food and very reasonable prices.

The Low Wood Hotel on the shore of Windermere is meant to be great for families and has a pool too: www.elh.co.uk/hotels/lowwood/
