Got a couple of days in London, staying at the Premier Inn in Holborn. Got a west end show in the evening with the 5 year old but looking at how to fill the daytimes. Free or cheap! Museums, parks etc. thanks in advance 😃

You're very close to Coram Fields which is a nice children only park and playground near the British Museum

Transport museum. Great for children but not free. Or National History museum.

Perhaps check out what is on at South Bank - they often have free outdoor events. Plus there is a fun outdoor fountain if hot day plus buskers etc. Tate modern has stuff for kids. Or British museum is close. Or down to Covent Garden to watch buskers there. All of these are free! Parks wise, Coram’s field is super close and very kid friendly (you can only go in if have kids…). Have a great time!

Not free, but the postal museum is not far and is meant to be great. You can go on the old post train.
