Cornwall days out and activities or teens

Can anyone recommend any days out or activities anywhere in Cornwall that older teens may enjoy? We especially love quirky and unusual ideas and experiences.

Neither swim so surfing/swimming is out and we have been Cornwall several times so a lot of stuff we have already done hence needing inspiration. It's likely our last holiday all together as our eldest is getting too old for holidays with us now so want to make the most of it.

Eden project and zip wire
Bodmin jail
Crabbing - ok, I know they’re teens, but all ages loves going crabbing,
Minnack theatre
Hire a boat, or go on a yacht

I have a sea safari and Bodmin jail on my list of definites Smile

We have already done The Eden Project. I love the idea of crabbing as we haven't done that since they were small, it might be nice to take a trip down memory lane.

Tamar trails
Carnglaze caverns
Lost gardens Heligan (never been there, so might be rubbish)

We had an amazing day out at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. I just checked when we went and it was back in 2016 so maybe another trip is needed!

I will check the other two out, thank you.

Hidden Valley, abit like escape rooms and trails with complex puzzles easier options also available. Really good my 15 year old really enjoyed it when she was dragged there for her much younger brothers birthday recently..

We have been on a Padstow Sealife Safaris Boat Trip as a family and they are so much fun, we saw dolphins, puffins and seals and the kids were over the moon! The trip was about 2hrs and then we went out for lunch in Padstow and it was the most amazing experience.

They are also doing a local discount on their wildlife tours using the code LOCAL15 for Sept and Oct.

They have said you will need to email [email protected] with proof of address or bring proof of address with you when you come on the trip!

There is an indoor skatepark that's brilliant in Newquay. You can get private lessons or hire or attend an open session. Great for damp days
