Suggestions for couple weekend away in quiet place

I'm wondering if someone can help me with suggestions for a couples getaway in a cottage or somewhere private that is not too far if a drive from London.

North Wales could be too far for you to travel but google the Laundry Retreat and have a look at the two roundhouses.
Not cheap certainly but if you are looking for somewhere romantic and private this is the place!
