Cheapest rail travel

Is there anyway of seeing cheapest train tickets across a month like you can with flights?

LNER has a fare finder but I'm not sure about other operators. I had a quick look on National Rail website and it only shows the cheapest fare for a given route on a certain day and then you'd had to scroll through each day to see if it gets cheaper.
